We examine the geopolitics of the United States. Namely, what geographical challenges the United States faces, how it has or plans to over come them, and how they have contributed to the growth and expansion as well as development of the United States. Apart from domestic geographic evaluation we also take a look at the US security from the perspectives of continental threats to oceanic and international as well. Including present and historical continental threats from Canada, Russian, Mexico, Cuba and the Caribbean, Hawaii, and European Atlantic colonies.

Global State of Nuclear Energy, Weapons and Resources

In the wake of Fukushima and the escalation in western tensions with Iran over obtaining nuclear capability, we take a look at the state of world nuclear power, weapons, US and western security, and uranium reserves. Although during the Cold War Russia was the prime nuclear threat to the US and its Western allies, the fall of the Soviet Union and the acceleration of globalization has shifted this juxtaposition to a multi-polar threat assessment. Presently the countries which threaten the US the most are those that it has labeled "Rouge States", including but not limited to and that presently constitute a nuclear threat, Iran and North Korea.
